Is there anyway we can start a petition or another way..it's not right that her family or legal team has not even been able to see Somayeh Rashidi, talk with her or what her condition is..this is disturbing.
Have there been any further updates since then? It's now June 2010.
I think what is being done to those fighting for human rights is of course to scare everyone else who wants to speak up and spread fear. They use such psychological and physical warfare against people who just want human rights and equality.
But, they are the ones that are frightened..if they weren't they wouldn't be arresting people for studying politics or holding workshops or study groups on women's rights..the better informed they are the worse it is for the powers in charge who misuse their roles as "leaders" repeatedly. This is all they care about controlling everyone so they can carry on as they want, but more and more activists in places like Iran are not going to stand for it anymore and continue to fight peacefully to make changes.

Apparently abiding the law doesnt mean your safe from being sent to prison in Iran. Citizens have to follow the law and are sent to prison anyway, while the government doesnt have to follow any law. How can IRI expect to be taken seriously, when laws are only to show off to other countries, while they dont mean a thing in Iran itself. Unbelievable any country can have such disregard for human rights!
